Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Bhopal was established in the year 1988 and is an autonomous institute approved by AICTE.

CIPET Bhopal provides various Diploma, UG, PG and PG Diploma courses to the aspirants.

The minimum eligibility criteria for Diploma program is 35% marks in SSC (Class 10th) with Mathematics, English and Science as main subjects.
The minimum eligibility criteria for PG Diploma programs is a three-year Diploma in Plastic Technology/Mechanical/Mechatronics or equivalent.
For B.Tech, the requirement is 10+2 (academic stream) or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry (minimum aggregate marks 60%).

CIPET Bhopal B.Tech And Diploma Courses Admission 2023

CIPET Bhopal offers Diploma and B.Tech courses with two specializations in each of them at the UG level.

The eligibility criteria for Diploma program is 35% marks in Class X with Mathematics, English and Science as main subjects. For B.Tech, 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry subjects is required to be eligible. (minimum aggregate marks 60%).

At the PG level, the courses offered by CIPET are M.E, M.Tech in 3 specializations, PG Diploma in 3 specializations and Post Graduate Diploma in Plastic Processing and Testing (PGD-PPT)

The eligibility criteria for Post-Diploma programs are a 3-year diploma in plastic technology /mechanical / mechatronics or equivalent.

For the PG Diploma course, a 3-year degree with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as main subjects are required to be eligible.

The eligibility criteria for M.E/M. Tech courses are B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. in Engg.in Mechanical /Chemical /Production / Polymer /Tool Engineering or M.Sc. in Polymer Science/Chemistry with specialization in polymer.

Key points about CIPET Bhopal admission:

CIPET JEE application form can be filled via online and offline mode.
The examination consists of two papers – Prelims and Main. Candidate must have qualified both the papers to get admission into CIPET, Bhopal courses.
The maximum age limit for admissions into Post Diploma/ Post Graduate Diploma is 25 Years and 20 years for Diploma courses.
Age limit is calculated as on July 31 of the admission year. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and North-Eastern applicants.

How to Apply for CIPET Bhopal?

Candidates are required to apply for CIPET JEE either in online or offline mode. For online mode, a fee of INR 250 for General, OBC, and OBC (NCL) (INR 50 in case of SC/ST candidates) is required to be paid.

The application fee of the entrance examinations can be paid online using Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking. No application fee is charged for the candidates belonging from North East region.

For offline mode of application: DD can be drawn in favor of “CIPET” payable at Chennai.

The selections of candidates in various courses follow category-wise reservation as below:
