Eligibility Criteria

The basic Eligibility is 10 +2 (Academic stream) with Maths, Physics & Chemistry with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates) in aggregate in the required three subjects.

Lateral Entry Eligibility

• Engineering and B.Sc graduates in Mathematics, are eligible to apply for Lateral Entry to B.Tech. 
• The duration of Lateral entry courses is 3 years. 
• Candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks in 3-4 years diploma or B.Sc from a recognized university sanctioned by Uttar Pradesh board of education.

Selection Criteria

• Candidates are selected for UG courses on the basis of the UPSEE scores followed by the AKTU counselling session conducted. 
• Mentioned below are the 2019 cut-off ranks based on UPSEE examination.

Admission Process 

JEE Mains

The application fee for taking this exam varies with the type of candidature. The application fee for the general category is INR 325. The following section throws light on the requirements and the process of registration for JEE Mains.

Documents Required

• Scanned and recent photograph coloured or black/white (but clear contrast) JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
• Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format. Size should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
• Application forms with unclear photographs will be rejected. 

How to Register?

• Visit the official website of JEE Main and click on “Fill Online Application Form”.
• Register by giving your personal details, to generate a user id and password.
• The application number will be generated after submitting the details for registration.
• The form requires personal details, address, and mobile number.
• You can set your security question and password to access the application for the future.
• Submit the application form by logging in with the same user id and password that you had set.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants to M.E or M.Tech courses must have either of the two to be eligible:
  • B.E. / B.Tech., Engg. (4 years) in Mechanical / Chemical / Production / Polymer / Plastics Engineering / Technology OR
  • M.Sc. in Polymer Science / Chemistry with polymer specialization.
• The Candidate should be at least 16 years old. 

Selection Criteria

• Candidates are selected for M.Tech courses on the basis of the UPSEE scores. 
• However, a valid GATE or GPAT score can substitute this. 
• Preference is given to applicants with a GATE score. 
• Candidates with a valid GATE score do not require to take any other entrance exam on the state level and can directly apply for counselling. 
• For M. Tech admissions, 70% weightage is given to GATE score and 30% to candidates’ performance in the interview for selection.

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a B.Sc. degree with Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry/Polymer Science/Applied Chemistry/Industrial Polymer Chemistry/Chemistry as one of the major subjects to be eligible.

Candidates are selected for M.Sc courses on the basis of the UPSEE scores only followed by the AKTU counselling.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have an M.E./ M. Tech degree in Plastic Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized institute/ university. 
• Applicants with the following qualifications can also apply for the written entrance test. 
  • Bachelor's and Master’s degree with first division in the field of Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Management or Architecture.
  • Bachelor's and Master’s degree with first division in the field of Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Management or Architecture with at least two years of experience in Industry, Research or Teaching area.
  • Master degree in Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics with 60% marks in aggregate.

Selection Process

Selection is through a written entrance test followed by the interview round, both of which are conducted by AKTU. 

Admission Process

• Visit the AKTU website and fill the online application form. 
• The application fee for Ph.D. programs can be paid online using credit/ debit card or net banking. 
• Offline applications can also be filed in accordance with AKTU’s application process for Ph.D. programs. 
• For offline applications, the form and required documents must be mailed to the University address. 
• The forms are put up on AKTU website during July-August.

Selection of candidates for the Diploma programs is done through CIPET JEEl.

Eligibility Criteria

• The basic eligibility criteria for the UG Diploma courses is a pass in 10+2 in science stream. 
• The Post Diploma course is open to students who have completed 3 year full time diploma course in Mechanical / Plastics / Polymer / Tool / Production / Mechatronics / Automobile / Tool & Die Making / Petrochemicals / Industrial / Instrumentation Engg / Technology or DPMT/ DPT or Equivalent.
• The Post Graduate Diploma Course is open to students who have completed a 3 year full time degree in Science.
• There is no age bar for selection.

CIPET JEE Qualified students can apply for diploma programmes.
