CT Institute of Management and Information Technology [CTIMIT] offers postgraduate programmes to aspiring students in three different domains namely Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Science (M.Sc). The duration of the MBA and M.Sc programme is two years while that of the MCA programme is three years.
Admission to the two-year MBA programme is done on the basis of merit of the candidates in Management Aptitude Test (MAT) examination conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). Candidates belonging from the state of Jalandhar need to appear for Punjab University Management Entrance Test (MET) conducted by Punjab University. However, candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline to be considered eligible for admission.
- Aspiring candidates for the MCA programme must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University to be considered eligible for admission.
- Admission to the MCA programme is done on the basis of merit in Punjab University Management Entrance Test (PU MET) conducted by Punjab Technical University.
- Aspiring candidates for the MCA programme must hold a Graduation degree from a recognized University with either Mathematics, Statistics, Business Management or Business Studies as compulsory, optional or additional subject, or should have studied at least one of these subjects at the Graduation / 10+2 level to be considered eligible for admission.
- The institute also has a provision for MCA Lateral Entry which it provides to its students for a duration of three years. Aspiring candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or a Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
For students who want to pursue Science at the postgraduate level, the institute provides them with Master of Science (M.Sc) programme in two different domains namely Information Technology, Airlines Tourism and Hospitality Management. The duration of the M.Sc programme is two years.
Aspiring candidates for M.Sc programme must hold a graduate degree to be considered eligible to partake in the admission process. Admission is done on the basis of merit in the Bachelor’s degree examination.
