CAHCET B. Tech/ B.E. Admission 2023

Abdul Hakeem College offers B.E in 7 specializations. To be eligible, the candidates should have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in Science stream from any recognized board.

Admission to the B. Tech courses will be done on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 through TNEA counselling. The counseling will be conducted by Anna University.

Candidates who belong to states except Tamil Nadu are required to produce a nativity certificate as a proof of Nativity.
Candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu and having completed their education from Tamil Nadu are not required to produce a Nativity certificate.
Those who belong to other states but have done their Class 8 - 12 in Tamil Nadu also do not need to produce proof of Nativity.
Candidates belonging to OBC are required to score 45% marks in and those belonging to SC/ST/MBC/DNC/SCA category must secure at least 40% marks to be eligible.

CAHCET M.E Admission 2023

Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering offers M.E in 5 specializations. To be eligible, candidates should hold a Bachelors' degree in any relevant field of engineering from any recognized university.

Admission is done on the basis of valid score in TANCET, conducted by Anna University. Candidates who have a valid GATE score are not required to appear for the TANCET. The merit list is based on the marks obtained in TANCET.

Important points:

Candidates appearing for GATE is required to fill in the online application from the official website of GATE.
The total intake of each course per year is 18 seats.
Candidates appearing with a valid GATE score in Life Science and Engineering Sciences are still required to appear for TANCET.

CAHCET MBA and MCA Admission 2023

The college also offers MBA and MCA at the PG level. To be eligible for both the courses, candidates should have a graduate degree from a recognized university.

Admission to both courses is done on the basis of performance in TANCET. The merit list will be prepared depending on the marks scored in the entrance exam and counseling will be conducted by Anna University for final selection.

CAHCET Application Process 2023

The application process for the college is carried out in offline mode. Candidates need to visit the official website and download the application form available in the ‘Downloads’ section on the homepage.

They need to fill the form accordingly and send it to the college address. The application fee of INR 300 fee has to be paid through a DD made in favor of “Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology”, payable at Melvisharam or Vellore.

CAHCET Scholarship Details 2023

There are four types of scholarships available in the college:

Backward Classes: given to BC/MBC/BCM candidates admitted through counseling.
Merit-cum-Means: given to all candidates belonging to minority communities (Muslim, Christian, Sikh).
Adi Draviddar and ST: given to all SC/ ST/SC converted Christians.
First Graduate Scholarship: given to the first graduate of a family admitted through counseling.
- Only the candidates with 75% attendance and with good conduct are eligible for scholarships.
- Any misconduct or misbehavior reported could lead to the cancellation of the scholarship.
