To apply for the B.Tech course, one must possess the following eligibility:
- Candidates must have passed HSC of Maharashtra State Board Secondary & Higher Secondary Education with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subject Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational.
- Also, they must have obtained 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PH candidates) in class 12th.
Eligibility for B.Tech Lateral Entry
Candidates must have passed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

- Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Kolhapur accepts the score of MHT CET or JEE Main exam for granting admission.
- A merit list will be published which will contain names of all the eligible students based on their ranks in the exam.
- For those with a valid score, the admission process will start through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
- The process of CAP includes registration, document verification and selection of desired course and college.
- There are three rounds in the CAP and after each round, availability of seats will be displayed on the official website.
