Bharat Institute of Technology, Meerut offers admission to its postgraduate M.Tech. programs on the basis of performance in GATE, the national level entrance conducted collectively by the IITs. For MCA course, candidates can apply on the basis of performance in UPSEE, the state level examination conducted by AKTU.
For MBA, a valid CAT / MAT or the equivalent score is required. Candidates must have passed at the undergraduate level from a relevant stream to be eligible to apply.
GATE consists of a 3-hour paper with 65 questions covering all relevant subject matter to the field as studied at the undergraduate level.
- Sections are included on general aptitude as well as technical aspects.
- The questions are objective-type or numeric-type.
- One or two marks is given for every correct response and 1/3rd is deducted for every incorrect answer.
