Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Tech Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement

1. Candidate who have passed 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as main subjects should have a minimum average percentage given below.

• For Communities other than BC / BC (Muslims) / MBC & DNC / SC /ST & Other Communities – A minimum average of 50% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
• For BC / BCM Communities – A minimum average of 45% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
• For MBC & DNC Communities – A minimum average of 40% and above in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
• For SC / ST – belonging to Tamilnadu, a mere pass (40%) in the qualifying examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

2. Candidate who have passed 12^th (Vocational ) or equivalent should  have a minimum average of percentage given below:

• For Communities other than BC / BC (Muslims) / MBC & DNC / SC /ST & Other Communities- 50% and above in Vocational or related subjects put together.
• For BC / BCM Communities – A minimum average of 45% and above in Vocational or related subjects put together.
• For MBC & DNC Communities – A minimum average of 40% and above in Vocational or related subjects put together.
• For SC / ST – belonging to Tamilnadu, a mere pass (40%) in the qualifying examination with Vocational or related subjects.

Entrance Exam

Candidates will be selected through TNEA Counselling.

AEC offers B.E under 5 specializations that includes Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

For admission into B.E courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for BC, 40% for MBC and passing marks for SC/ST) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Selection Criteria

• The college provides admission to candidates through TNEA Counselling based on the class 12th score.
• During the counselling, applicants have to register online, get their documents verified and fill the choice of course and college i.e AEC.
• The concerned authority will allot seats to eligible students based on their score and choices.
• After the allotment, students need to confirm the allotted seat by paying the fee.
• At last they have to report at the allotted college for further admission formalities.
