Annai Vailankanni College of Engineering offers BE course of four-year duration with 5 specializations.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and minimum 50% marks are considered eligible to get admission to BE program. Students who hold Diploma in relevant subject with at least 50% marks or have passed B.Sc. with Mathematics as a compulsory subject are considered eligible to apply for admission to BE Lateral Entry program.

Admission to BE course is given through TNEA Counselling conducted by the Anna University. Admission to BE Lateral entry is given on the basis of merit.

• Candidates belonging to SC and ST category who have passed 10+2 with pass marks are considered eligible to get admission to BE course.
• Relaxation of 5% marks is given to BC candidates.
• Relaxation of 10% marks is given to candidates belonging to Most Backward Class.
• Candidates who belong to BC category and have passed Diploma or B.Sc. with at least 45% marks are considered eligible to join BE LTE.
• MBC category candidates are given relaxation of 10% marks for BE Lateral entry admission.

Admission to ME program is given on the basis of GATE/ TANCET scores.
