Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences (ANITS), affiliated to the Andhra University, offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in a wide range of branches in the field of Engineering and Technology.

Admission to the courses offered by ANITS is done in two categories – merit and quota. The merit categories are filled on the basis of performance in EAMCET and PGECET for undergraduate and postgraduate courses respectively. The Management quota / NRI quota seats have a separate admission process, and eligibility must be proved to be considered for admission. Spot admissions may be given in certain cases if vacancies occur in the Category ‘B’ seats, which will be notified through the official website of the institute.

Candidates who hold a Diploma can apply for admission to the Bachelor’s programme through Lateral Entry if they have qualified the EAMCET. The Lateral Entry admissions constitute an overall 10% of the admissions.

ANITS B.E & B.Tech Admission 2023

The university offers B.Tech programme in multiple branches of Engineering and Technology. The admission to the B.Tech programmes is done through the candidate’s performance in the EAMCET – Engineering followed by merit list.

Selection Process:

The admission to the courses offered is in two categories – merit and Management quota/NRI quota.

70% of the seats are filled on the basis of a merit list developed based on the performance in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET).
The remaining 30% seats are filled on the basis of NRI/Management quota, known as Category B seats. Candidates are required to apply separately and may be admitted on the basis of academic merit and availability of seats.

Those selected for admission are required to attend admission counseling, and submit all relevant documents for verification. Payment of stipulated admission fee is required to complete the admission process.

ANITS M.E & M.Tech Admission 2023

ANITS offers postgraduate programmes in technology on the basis of GATE Score. There is also a provision of sponsored admission procedure for interested candidates.

The Masters of Technology programmes enroll 18 students in each specialization field. The sponsored admissions for postgraduates have a limit of 2 candidates for each programme and it should not exceed beyond 5 candidates in a single department. The university considers the sponsored admission seats to be supernumerary. The university makes it a responsibility of the sponsoring agency that the candidate will surely get an approved leave for the full course duration in order to pursue the same.

Selection Process:

The admission to the courses offered is in two categories – merit and Management quota/NRI quota.

Merit seats are filled on the basis = the performance in the PGECET conducted annually. GATE scores may also be taken into account.
The remaining seats are filled on the basis of NRI/Management quota, known as Category B seats. Candidates are required to apply separately and may be admitted on the basis of academic merit and availability of seats.
If vacancies occur, spot admission may be granted in certain situations.

ANITS Application Process 2023

Students, seeking admission in ANITS can apply for B.Tech & M.Tech programmes by visiting the official website. Students need to follow the below-mentioned steps in order to apply:

Download the ‘Application cum Registration form’ from the website.
Fill the form with all the desired details such ad rank obtained in the entrance followed by personal & educational qualification details.
Pay the Application fee through DD or cash. (mention the DD number in the application form).
Send the application form along with desired documents to the official address of ANITS.

Note: For B.Tech programmes, initially students have to apply for the AP EAMCET examination.

My honest review on ANITS , Visakhapatnam

What I Liked

The sports facilities are good and some of the classes are also good and environment is saying nice, and the teaching methods are also liked so much
There are many things that I like to mention

What I didn’t like

The sports ground is not good, but rather everything is good
They need to maintain the ventilation in some of the classes like they don’t have good ventilation in few classes

Remarks:

I choose this college as it's suggested by some of my college mates and my relatives as it's good in some aspects and many more academical wise. It's very good. I would read it 8 out of 10 and they have to improve in few specific things like sports or all the eligibility for joining this colleges Is based on merit and how we got the previous 12 board marks and also the entrance exam of government AP EAMCET. The admission experience is good and I prefer for students also to join in this college as it having 70% to 80% placement, guarantee and internships or I will rate this college 8 out of 10.

HONEST REVIEW OF ANITS ,SANGIVALASA

What I Liked

i liked the way of teaching method of factilites

What I didn’t like

the rooms was very hot.the fans was not good.

Remarks:

I choosed this college because its near to our home and its having good transportation facilities to avail. I would say this college im studying now is okey and according to my point of view i would give 8/10 . the admission process is good and infrastructure is good. i didnt get admission in other college due to my low marks in my 12th and eamcet rank.

good facilities and it have solar panels

very small ground we have to play in it only

i appiled many collages it think that this the good collage comapered to every collage.i have selected mainly this colloage only. this collage good name in the socithy and everybody know about it and we can get placements easily.

What I Liked

some time like climate around it and it has very small playground

What I didn’t like

they is very hot rooms in the class rooms and fans was also very slow

i get the seat in this so i will get the vidya devina so it will reduce the amount weight on my parents so i will make sure that they will pay my collage fee about government will pay the half half amount

Navigating the college experience:a journey of growth and discovery

What I Liked

Good facilities and education purpose in college
Lab internals and externals good and practical work was nice
Sports and other cultural activities done by students was nice

The college Anil Neerukonda institute of technology was at good placements around Visakhapatnam and there facilities are good, experienced faculty are available in that college and more and more computational activities are conducted to increase the computation level in students

Is Andhra University better than ANITS?

As per most of the students, Andhra University is much better than ANITS. One of the reasons for this is that it is more than 90 years old and ANITS is just 15 years old.

Andhra University is well equipped, all the faculties are Ph.D. holders. There are so many branches. It is well known for its research and quality education. The institute will offer great exposure and placements to its students.

The university has a great alumni base as well. AU is definitely among the universities that are coming to the forefront in the country.
