Candidate applying for admission in the B.Tech program should meet the following criteria
1. Merit Quota
- The candidate must have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or equivalent exam with minimum 50% aggregate score along with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together.
Candidates with 45% – 50% marks in Class 12 will be considered for admission under government quota only in private engineering colleges.
- In case a candidate has not studied Chemistry in class 12, marks of Computer Science will be considered for the aggregate score. Further, if the candidate has also not studied Computer Science and Chemistry, the marks in Biotechnology will be considered. In case a candidate has not studied any of the above subjects, the scores of Biology will be taken into consideration.
2. Management/ NRI Quota
- Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry put together are eligible for admission under Management Quota in Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges/Government Controlled Self-financing Engineering Colleges.
Note
Age - Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2020. Relaxation in the minimum age will not be allowed. There is no upper age.
Nationality - Candidates must be citizens of India.
