The institute offers admission to the B.E course under 5 specializations. Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) qualifies students can apply for admission.

Admission to the coures will be based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination followed by the TNEA counseling.

ACET Tamil Nadu B.E Eligibility

Candidates seeking admissions to full time B.E programmes, must have passed higher secondary or 10+2 exam from a recognized board with minimum total aggregate as listed below and Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects.

• General Category – 50%
• BC/BCM – 45%
• MBC/DNC/SC/ST/SCA – 40%

ACET Tamil Nadu B.E Selection Criteria

Admissions are purely made on the basis of merit in qualifying exam. Eligible students are admitted by means of TNEA single window counseling after the release of cut-off marks.

• 60% seats are filled by single window counseling
• 40% of seats remaining are filled under management quota on merit basis only
• 50 seats are for students with excellent sports and academic record
• 50 seats are given to toppers of various state boards with full scholarship
