You should decide which option is best for you. However, you should keep in mind that, doing a B.Sc Hons degree in Psychology will not offer many job opportunities. There are many students with such degrees and very few job possibilities. On the other hand, doing a B.Tech in CSE from AOT will give you three options. You can choose to go for higher studies. You can get decent job offers in the technical and non-technical fields after you complete your degree.

AOT Hooghly is often talked about but it is very overrated. The cutoff and the closing rank are not good. Haldia Institute, on the other hand, is a much better option. You will definitely feel a difference here. CSE is the best branch here and great opportunities are offered by the institute. There’s a 100% guarantee that most of the students will be placed without any trouble. None of the students regrets their decision to come here and study.

Heritage Institute of Technology would be a better choice. Since it has become autonomous, it has advantages over institutes that are under WBUT. Heritage will provide you very good exposures in both from the academic and the industrial point of view. You will also be aided in your research and project oriented internships from the faculty. It is one of the best institutes for pursuing engineering not only in Kolkata but in West Bengal. The environment of HIT is also excellent for studies. Categories Heritage Institute of Technology Course Fee 4.04 lakh Placement Percentage 80% Highest CTC 21-24 LPA Average CTC 12-15 LPA Lowest CTC Tech Mahindra, TCS, Oracle, HCL, etc. A lot of my friends studied there and they are very satisfied with the education and training they received.
