ABR College of Engineering & Technology offers admission to various courses through state level entrance and counselling conducted by JNTU, Kakinada. Candidates may visit the relevant entrance test websites, viz, AP EAMCET, AP-PGECET and AP-ICET in order to fill the application form. The entrance tests are usually held in the month of April-May and counselling is conducted from last week of June till mid-August.
Candidates who qualify the entrance tests must register for JNTU counselling. Allotment of seats is carried out during counselling on the basis of their rank. The application- cum- counselling process is as follows:
- Candidates seeking admission to government quota seats must fill the online application form by visiting the respective websites.
- Payment of application fee can be done online using credit/ debit card or net-banking.
- Applicants are required to download the admit cards from the respective websites as notified and appear in the entrance tests conducted for the purpose of selection.
- Candidates qualifying the entrance test must visit one of the nearest Help-line Centers with all the relevant documents for verification.
- After verification of the documents, the candidates will receive a Blank Option Form along with a list of college names, courses and their codes.
- The applicant must write down their preferred college and course codes on priority basis.
- In case of discrepancies, the applicant is allowed to modify his/her choice of college and course code on a given date which is notified by the authority on their official website. This marks the final opportunity for the student to exercise their options.
- The final allotment of seats according to the authority’s norms will be displayed on the official website. The candidates whose names are on the Merit list must download their allotment order and report through Self-reporting system/ at college for payment of admission fees and to book his/her seat.

Self-attested photocopies of the following documents must be submitted at the time of counselling/ admission:
- Hall ticket of EAMCET/ PGECET/ ICET
- Rank Card of EAMCET/ PGECET/ ICET
- SSC / Intermediate or Equivalent marks memo
- Study/ Bonafide Certificate from III to X Class and Intermediate (10+2)
- Caste Certificate for SC/ ST/ BC/ Minorities (if applicable)
- Income Certificate issued by MRO (for students claiming fee exemption)
- PH/ NCC/ CAP/ Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)
- Transfer Certificate
Note: Candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centers after Document Verification.
