The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Sc. The specializations offered under the M.Sc. Nursing program include Medical Surgical Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Maternity Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing program is a B.Sc. degree in Nursing from a recognized institute with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks. Candidates applying for the Post Basic Diploma courses should have a Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institute. Nursing degree from a recognized institute with specialization in Medical Surgical Nursing. Candidates are also required to have pass the M.Sc. Nursing program with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Selection of candidates for the Ph.D. program is done on the basis of entrance test conducted by the institute, followed by a personal interview session.
