Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (VIMS) MBBS is a medical program recognized by the Medical Council of India and has about 250 seats per year. The duration of MBBS extends over 4 ½ years with 9 semesters of six months. The students will also have to attend one-year compulsory rotating internship to be awarded the MBBS degree.
VIMS BDS is recognized by the Dental Council of India and has an intake of 60 students per year. Admission into this course includes a merit-based selection and follows the Dental Council’s rules and regulations.

Preliminary selection of the candidates into these courses shall be based on the marks of the qualifying examination. Selected candidates will be called for an interview, clearing which will enable them to be admitted into the course. The candidates will also have to remit the necessary fees and produce the original documents at the time of admission.
VIMS B.Sc. Paramedical program offers six streams with a duration of 3 ½ years. The students will also have to finish a six months’ internship to be considered eligible for awarding the degree. Each course has different intake capacity but has a total intake of 80 seats per year.
For admission into any of these courses, the candidate must qualify the entrance examination. Applicants must note that those who have completed diploma/vocational course through correspondence shall not be eligible for any of the paramedical courses.

VIMS MD/MS program offers a variety of specializations. Each course under the program has different intake capacity and has the duration of three years, including the period of examination. Admissions to these two programs involve the students to clear the common entrance examination prescribed by the institution. Two different entrance tests will be conducted for both the management quota and the government quota. Candidates should also clear the NEET (PG) examination to be considered eligible.
VIMS MDS has about nine specializations with the duration that spans around three years. Admissions to these programs follow the same criteria as the other postgraduate medical courses.

The final selection in M.Sc Nursing will be based on the interview conducted by the college authorities. If admitted, the candidates will have to remit their tuition fees as well as any other prescribed fees at the time of admission. VIMS DM/M.Ch. programs are super specialty courses offered by the institute. Both the courses have the duration of three years including their period of examination.
