The MBBS programme offered by the institute is in two areas, namely, Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS).
- The duration of the course is 4 years and 6 months.
- The students must go for one year long internship.
- There is a total of 150 seats for this programme.
The admission to the programme is done through an entrance examination. The entrance examination will carry questions based on the syllabus of senior secondary school. For applying, student must fill in the application form correctly in their handwriting. It is mandatory to attach the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) mark sheet and other required photocopies of the original documents, attested. There is also a medical examination conducted by the university and only candidates who are declared fit will be allowed to pursue the course.

Candidates must have completed their HSC examination/senior secondary school in 10+2 pattern from any State/CBSE/ISC Board school or passed any other examination holding equivalent value with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Botany & Zoology. He/she must have secured minimum eligibility marks in order to be eligible for the admission procedure.

The students are required to meet various eligibility criteria enlisted below to seek admission in MBBS course:
- It is also required that the candidate must have completed 17 years of age on 31 December in the respective year of academics.
- The university verifies his/her age according to the age mentioned in the candidate’s HSC/CBSE/ISC grade card or in the Birth Certificate/ Passport.
