Eligibility Criteria

• Completed one year of compulsory rotating internship after passing the final MBBS examination and must have full registration with the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India.
• 5 years professional experience on or before 31 March of advertisement out of which 2 years should be in a department such as Preventive and Social Medicine, Community Health, Hospital Administration, Public Health Administration, and allied disciplines of Epidemiology, Maternal, and Pediatric nutrition, etc. in a medical college, a recognized hospital, a research institution in Delhi or in a teaching hospital outside Delhi and another 3 years experience at State/central level or in local bodies, Armed Forces Medical Services, public or voluntary sector organizations, railways, ESIC.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates is via a Common Written Screening Test to be held for postgraduate degree/diploma courses by Delhi University.

Admission to Diploma in Health Administration is provided by the National Institute of Health and Family Welfare based on the Common Screening Test of the eligible candidates. The institute has 6 seats for the program and the course content is as per Delhi University.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for the Diploma in Health Administration, the candidate must have compulsorily completed a rotating internship after passing the final MBBS examination. They must also have full registration with the State Medical Council or Medical Council of India.

Selection Process

The selection for candidates in Diploma in Health Administration is on the basis of the Common Written Screening Test. Admissions are provided according to the merit rank in the exam.

National Institute of Health and Family welfare has Post Graduate Diploma Course in the field of Public Health and Administration as the college believes that there is a need to devise programs that impart the required skills to tackle the public health facilities and managerial workforce. The objective of the course is to enhance the capacity of the public health managerial workforce.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility of the course is as per given below:

• In-service candidates working in central, state, and local governments with at least 2 to 3 years of service in the health sector.
• Applicants should have a valid degree in MBBS, BDS or B.Sc in Nursing, Health Science, or natural sciences or should have a degree in B.A. in Social Sciences or should have equivalent qualification and must be involved in either:
  • Public health activities at community hospitals,
  • Directorates of health services, public health or family welfare
  • Or other health-related organizations

Selection Process

After a candidate clears the eligibility criteria, the screening of recommended applicants is based on candidates’ work experience, background, and likely benefits from this training by partner institutions.

The college provides professional courses as a Ph.D. in the field of Medicine for a duration of 3 years.

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for the above course, the candidate must have a graduate and postgraduate degree with at least 60% marks. 
• For Medical/Dental candidates, they must have MD/MS/MDS degree with at least 60% marks in MBBS/BDS aggregate.

Selection Process

The selection is on the basis of the NEET-PG exam. The admission to the seats is given based on merit rank until cut-off is gained.
