Admissions to undergraduate courses can be gained through the CET conducted by the Government of Karnataka for 85% of the seats for which residents of Karnataka are eligible. In addition to this the admission to 15% seats of the all India Central Government quota, which is open to any citizens of India, is through the AIPMT conducted by the CBSE for the Government of India.

Aspirant seeking admission in 5.6 years full-time Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) must be 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology from a recognized board.
