Jorhat Medical College MBBS Admissions 2023 will begin soon. For the MBBS admission, students are required to appear for NEET-UG entrance exam. NTA has announced NEET 2023 exam date in the recently published exam calendar. NEET exam date 2023 is May 7, 2023. NEET 2023 registration will begin soon at neet.nta.nic.in.

Jorhat Medical College (JMC Jorhat) was founded in 2009. The college offers MBBS and PG courses in 8 specializations. For UG and PG courses admission are through their NEET UG & NEET PG scores and counselling of NEET Assam state. The minimum qualifications for MBBS 10 + 2 is at least 50% marks in PCB / Biotech combination. Minimum authorization for PG admission must be an MBBS graduate. Ques. How seat allocation process occurs in NEET  Assam?

Ans. Assam NEET Council will take place in two rounds. The seating and round mop-up process will be done separately for each round. The seating will be entirely based on the rank of merit and choice seized by the candidates. The result of the distribution of seats in MBBS and BDS 2020 Assam for Round I board will tentatively be announced in the first week of July. The result of the seating will be published online on the official website of the Directorate of Medical Education Assam.

Ques. What is the selection procedure for Assam NEET counselling?

Ans. The authority will review the list of merit of candidates for admission after the Council of State NEET. Admission applicants will be selected on the basis of rank obtained and the choice filled during counseling. Admission Applicants must report to the allotted college admission and all required documents. If any student does not attend college allocated in all circumstances in the allotted time, the seat of that candidate will be cancelled.

Ques. What does free outlet for NEET boards mean? 

Ans. The Free exit in NEET Council in 2020 means that if a candidate is allocated a seat in round 1 of NEET 2020 guidance but does not report / join at the given date, then the allocated college will not be penalized for him/ her and will be eligible to participate in the next set of tips.
