₹ 26,000Govt. colleges are better than reputed private colleges because of the huge difference in fees. The payment seats at private colleges in Rajasthan will cost you around 40 lakhs. The fees in Govt. medical colleges, on the other hand, is around 40,000-50,000 only.
The quality of academics at Govt. colleges and private colleges are almost the same. Professor can’t teach you the whole syllabus. In your MBBS, you will have to do a lot of self-study. Out of 19 subjects, 4-5 are for self-study. So, it’s better to choose a Govt. college, where the fees are less. Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Dr. Sampurnanand Medical College, Sardar Patel Medical College, are among the many good Govt. colleges in Rajasthan.
