Geetanjali Medical College is a private medical college located in the city of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The batches up to 2011 are affiliated to the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences which conducts the examinations.Batches 2012 and onwards are affiliated to the Geetanjali University, which was established in 2011.

The college offers several courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, paramedical diploma and courses at Research level to the aspiring students who want to pursue their career in the field of Medical Science.

Admission in MBBS and BDS is done through NEET UG, and for MD and MS eligible candidates will have to appear in NEET PG. for admission in other courses, candidates are selected on the basis of marks scored in last qualifying examination.

Geetanjali Medical College MBBS and BDS Admission 2023

Geetanjali Medical College offers Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) to the candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Medical and Dental respectively. The college also offers Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in six Medical specializations. The courses, thus offered, are for 5.5 years and 4 years for MBBS and BDS, and for B.Sc the time period depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the eligible candidates.

Admission in MBBS and BDS is done through NEET UG. Eligible candidates will have to appear in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by CBSE. Those who aspire to give entrance test can visit the official website of NEET

Admission in B.Sc is done on the basis of marks scored in 10+2 level or equivalent in concerned subjects.

Geetanjali Medical College PG Medical Admission 2023

At postgraduate level, Geetanjali  Medical College offers Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) in various specializations each. The duration period for each of the specializations is three years. Apart from MD and MS, the college also offers Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Hospital Administration (MHA) and PG Diploma in several specializations.

Eligible candidates will have to appear in NEET PG conducted by the National Board of Education (NBE) for admission in MD and MS. However, in order to meet the eligibility criteria candidates must hold Graduate Degree in MBBS from any recognized university.Registration for NEET PG can be made from the official website

Geetanjali Medical College Paramedical Diploma Admission 2023

Apart from regular UG and PG courses, the college also offers Paramedical Diploma courses in Operation Theatre Technology, Radiation Technology, Ophthalmic Technology, Dialysis Technician and Medical Lab Technician for a duration of two years. The intake capacity for each of the specializations is 25 seats.

Candidates must have studied and passed 10+2 level or equivalent in relevant discipline. Admission will be made based on the scores obtained in last qualifying exam.

Geetanjali Medical college also offers Ph.D full time and Ph.D part time to the aspiring students who want to do research in the field of Medical Science. The duration periods are 3 years and 5 years respectively.

In order to get admission in Ph.D, candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in relevant discipline. However, eligible candidates can get admission on the basis of marks obtained in last qualifying examination.

Remarks:

I took admitted to this college through Rajasthan Neet counselling. This is actually a private medical college which currently consists of 10 govt. Seat i.e. these 10 seats have tuition fees markedly low as compared to Pvt. Seats. The admission process was simple as such. And college is a bit strict regarding studies.
