Darbhanga Medical College, established in 1946, is a reputed medical college located in the state of Bihar. The college offers various MBBS, MD, MS and various Diploma courses. It is affiliated to Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Bihar.

The 5-year MBBS course has a total intake of 100 students. The 3-year postgraduate MD course is available in various branches and has a total intake of about 70 students. Similarly, the 3-year M.S. course, also available in multiple branches, has an intake of 42 students.

Admission to the M.B.B.S. course is done on the basis of the NEET UG.
Admission to MD and MS is done on the basis of NEET PG 2020.

Darbhanga Medical College MBBS Admission 2023

Darbhanga Medical College offers a 5-year MBBS course the UG level. Candidates need to have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination with Science stream and should have secured minimum aggregate marks of 50%. (45% for OBC/SC/ST).

Admission to this course is done on the basis of merit secured in NEET. While applying for DMC, the candidates need to provide their qualifying rank and marks in the application form. Subsequent counselling will be done on campus.

Darbhanga Medical College MD and MS Admission 2023

Candidates seeking admission to the 3-year MD and MS courses at the PG level. Candidates need to have an MBBS degree from any of the recognized state or central universities. Admission to these courses is done on the basis of merit secured in the NEET PG.

Students also need to complete one internship before applying for the NEET examination. The counselling will be done on the Darbhanga Medical Campus for the shortlisted candidates.

Key points:

Candidates who have completed one year of internship or/are likely to complete the internship on or before March 31, 2018, may apply for NEET PG through online application system
