The Satara College of Pharmacy was started 1999 and is managed by the Gourishankar Education Society. The college is located in the town of Satara, Maharashtra and is affiliated to the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University.

Satara College of Pharmacy B.Pharm Admission 2023

Satara College of Pharmacy offers a 4-year Bachelors in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) course with degrees granted by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University. Applicants must secure at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved) marks in 10+2 examinations with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology/Maths/Computer Science as compulsory subjects. For lateral entry to B. Pharm 2nd year, candidates must obtain D. Pharm degree with at least 50% marks from an institute affiliated to any State Technical Education board.

Admissions to the B. Pharm course are based on scores obtained in the MHT-CET exam. DTE releases the final list of shortlisted candidates. Selected candidates must register again and fill up an Option Form online for participating in the Common Admission Process (CAP).

Satara College of Pharmacy D.Pharm Admission 2023

Satara College of Pharmacy offers a Diploma programme in Pharmacy conducted over a period of 2 years. Candidates need to successfully clear 10+2 examinations conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) or any other recognized higher secondary board in Science stream in order to qualify for admission to the D. Pharm course.

Candidates must appear for the MHT-CET entrance exam and score at least 50% marks to qualify for admission to the D. Pharm course. Applicants need to register online. Shortlisted candidates can find their names on the merit list published on the DTE website.

Satara College of Pharmacy M. Pharm Admission 2023

The M. Pharm course offered by Satara College of Pharmacy is conducted over a period of 2 years. Candidates who belong to the Sponsored category must secure at least 55% marks in B. Pharm degree exam from an AICTE approved institution. Students who belong to the Non-Sponsored category must possess B. Pharm degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate.

Students have to appear for and produce scores obtained in GPAT-Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (conducted by AICTE) to apply for the M. Pharm course. If enough number of eligible candidates are not available through GPAT, candidates can also be taken on the basis of their academic scores, provided they meet the minimum eligibility requirements.

Selected candidates must fill-up and submit an Option Form online on the DTE website for participation in the Common Admission Process (CAP) rounds. Based on their merit list rank, colleges and courses are allotted to the students. Candidates must report to an Admission Reporting Centre with the necessary documents to confirm their seats in the college allotted in the CAP round.

Satara College of Pharmacy Application Process 2023

  • Candidates can purchase the application kit and information brochure from the nearest Facilitation Centre mentioned on the DTE website for a fee of Rs. 400 (Rs. 300 for Reserved Category candidates).
  • They must register themselves at www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in and fill-up the application form with all the necessary details. 
  • A print-out of the duly-filled application form along with the all the necessary documents must be carried to the Facilitation Centre for verification on the date specified on the website.
  • They have to be present in person.
  • The documents to be carried for verification at the FC include (originals and 4 attested photocopies):
  1. Passport Size Photographs (5 Copies).
  2. S.S.C. (10th) Mark sheet and Pass Certificates.
  3. H.S.C. (12th) Mark sheet.
  4. Graduation mark sheet (if applicable).
  5. MHT-CET Mark Sheet.
  6. School Leaving Certificate/Transfer Certificate.
  7. Nationality /Domicile Certificate.
  8. Caste Certificate (if applicable).

  • If a candidate has a grievance against the selection process, he/she can fill-out and submit a grievance form available on the DTE website.
  • After publication of merit list, selected candidates must fill-up an Option form and submit it online for participating in the Common Admission Process (CAP) rounds.
  • If satisfied with the college and course allotted in the 1st CAP round, candidates must report to the specified Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) with all the necessary documents to complete the admission formalities.
  • Those who are not satisfied with the colleges allotted to them in the 1st CAP round can register for the next CAP round by filling out an Option Form for CAP II.
  • Candidates can fill in minimum 1 and maximum 300 college and course options in the Option Form.
