Saroj Institute of Management and Technology was established in 2001. It is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (APJAKTU). The institute offers full-time B.Pharm, M.Pharm, MBA and MCA programs at UG and PG levels. Admissions for various courses are done according to the guidelines of AKTU on the basis of UPSEE score.

The admission to the B.Tech and B.Pharm programs are offered on the basis of merit in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) conducted by AKTU.
For B.Tech program, JEE Main qualified candidates are also eligible for admission while for B.Pharm, GPAT qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.
Admission to M.Tech and M.Pharm programs is done on the basis of marks scored in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
A valid UPSEE score is required for MBA and MCA courses. Apart from UPSEE score for MBA program, the candidates with good score in CAT, MAT, XAT or CMAT are also eligible to apply.

Saroj Institute of Management and Technology offers B.Tech and B.Pharm program (Regular as well as Lateral Entry) in various streams. To be eligible for B.Tech program, the candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized board with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC /ST candidates) in aggregate and 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in each compulsory and optional subject.

For B.Pharm program, candidates need to pass 10+2 level examination with PCB with at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC /ST candidates) in aggregate.

Admission is offered on the basis of UPSEE score. Apart from UPSEE score, a valid rank in JEE Main is also considered for B.Tech while a valid score in GPAT is also considered for B.Pharm program.

Key points:

As per the norms of the affiliating university, 85% seats will be allotted through UPSEE counselling on the basis of the ranks secured in UPSEE or JEE Main.

Key Points:

Preference will be given to the candidates who have scored 75 percentile in GATE or first division with honors or, who fall in the list of 25% top graduates in AKTU.

In addition to M.Tech and M.Pharm programs, the institute also offers two postgraduate level courses focusing on the area of Business Administration and Computer Application leading to MBA and MCA degrees.

For admission to the first year of MBA, a candidate must have passed a three-year degree course in any discipline with at least 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.

To get admission in the first year of MCA, the candidates must have passed a three-year degree course in the relevant discipline with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate. Candidate must have obtained at least 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Bachelor’s degree level.

85% seats are allotted according to the merit of State Entrance Examination (SEE) of UP State through counselling as per the directives of AICTE, state government and affiliating university.

For JEE Main, UPSEE, GATE, GPAT registration, the candidates have to apply on the official website of the conducting bodies.
Application for the UPSEE can be submitted online only.
