Care College of Pharmacy is an institution specializing in the discipline of Pharmacy and offers admission into courses such as B.Pharm, M.Pharm and Pharm.D. Established in the year 2004, Care College of Pharmacy is approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and is affiliated to Kakatiya University, Warangal.

  • Candidates seeking admission to in Pharm.D and B.Pharma shall have to appear in Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) conducted by JNTU, Kakinada.
  • Admission shall be affected on the basis of entrance exam merit ranks and online counselling conducted by the JNTU, Kakinada.
  • For B.Pharm and Pharm.D, candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and scored minimum 55% marks in aggregate.
  • Admission to B.Pharm is done on the basis of EAMCET followed by counselling.
  • Candidates applying for M.Pharm admission shall be allotted admission as per relative merit order of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) or merit ranks of PGCET conducted by Andhra University.
  • To be eligible in M.Pharm, candidates must have obtained B.Pharm degree from an AICET/UGC approved institution/college and secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
  • Candidates may apply under management quota as well for which candidates need to apply separately as notified by the college.
  • All eligible candidates have to apply for the concerned entrance test and participate in online counselling conducted by competent authority.
  • Applications to EAMCET, PGCET and GPAT can be filled in online mode only.
  • For NRI candidates, they must have passed 10+2 with science subjects and 60% marks in aggregate for admission in B.Pharm and Pharm.D.

Care College of Pharmacy B.Pharm and Pharm.D Admission 2023

The B.Pharm course offered by the college is a four-year course and Pharm.D is a six-year course, both affiliated to Kakatiya University.

Candidates seeking admission to any of two UG courses shall be selected on the basis of marks/merit ranks obtained by candidates in EAMCET. The admissions shall be affected through process of counselling conducted by the competent authority.

Candidates seeking admission shall be held eligible if they have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 55% marks in aggregate and studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology.

Key Points:

  • Those candidates who have passed or appeared in the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, AP are also eligible to seek admissions.
  • Candidates should have completed 16 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
  • The eligibility criteria has been relaxed by 5% for candidates belonging to reserved category.
  • Only candidates scoring minimum 25% or more shall be considered for rankings in EAMCET.

Care College of Pharmacy M.Pharm Admission 2023

At PG level, the College offers two-year M.Pharm course in three specializations.

The selection of candidates shall be done on the basis of marks secured in GPAT or AP PGCET. Candidates seeking admissions should have acquired degree in B.Pharm from an AICTE and PCI approved college/institution with minimum 55% marks for eligibility.

Key Points:

  • During allotment of seats in the college, first preference will be given to candidates qualified in GPAT and the remaining seats with the candidates qualified in AP PGCET as per their merit ranks.
  • In case of reserved category candidates minimum 50% is required.
  • Candidates appearing in their final year examination are also held eligible to apply.
  • The qualifying marks for obtaining a rank in AP PGCET is minimum 25% or more.
  • In the case of SC/ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks.

Care College of Pharmacy Application Process 2023

The application process shall involve two steps: Applying for entrance test and Registering for Online Counselling conducted by competent authorities on the basis of entrance test scores.

  • Candidate must apply for the respective entrance examination through official website of conducting bodies.
  • An application fee of requisite amount shall be paid via online payment gateway such as Credit card/ Debit card / Net banking or AP Online.
  • Candidates appearing in EAMCET shall be required to pay INR 450 and PGCET candidates shall pay INR 400 (for SC/ST category candidates) and INR 800 (for others) in online mode only.
  • Post declaration of results candidates opting for the college shall be required to participate in online counselling as per ranks obtained in entrance tests.
  • Thereafter, candidates shall appear in document verification and submit admission fee in the college to confirm their seats in a particular course.
