CL Baid Metha College of Pharmacy, one of the leading colleges of Chennai in the field of pharmacy. Tamil Nadu Chemists and Druggists Association on 1st December 1979 along with the Educational Trust decided to open a pharmacy college, as a result of which, the college was inaugurated on 13th July 1980 by Dr. H.V. Hande, the Minister of Health Government of Tamil Nadu.

The college has an approx. area of 6 acres which houses both the college as well as the hostel. The college offers various courses like Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry Ph.D., M. Pharm, M.Sc., B.TECH, M.TECH. etc. the college situated just a few metres away from Okkiyam Thuraipakkam road hence very easy to travel.
