Course Description

Bombay College of Pharmacy (BCP) founded in 1957 by the Indian Pharmaceutical Association Maharashtra State Branch (IPA MSB) offers a two-year full-time M.pharm degree across five specializations, such as Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and Pharmacognosy & Phytochemistry. Admission to its M.Pharm courses is based on the candidate’s performance in the GPAT or MH-CET examination. 

  • To be eligible for admissions, candidates must have completed a B.Pharm degree with a minimum of 55% marks as an aggregate.
  • The institute has a dedicated placement cell that helps the students to get the desired placements. Some of the top recruiters of the institute are TCS, Cipla, GlaxoSmithKline, Dr. Reddy, etc.

Bombay College of Pharmacy M.Pharm Mumbai Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates seeking admission into the M.Pharm course must have completed their B.Pharm degree from a recognized institute with a minimum of 55% marks as an aggregate. 
  • Candidates belonging to the ST/SC/OBC category are getting relaxation of 5% in their marks in graduation.

  • Admissions for M. Pharm Program are accepted through Maharashtra CET, conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, and through GPAT examination.

Eligibility Criteria:

ICT, Mumbai:

  • Candidates applying must pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry /Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

  • Diploma in Engineering and Technology with min 50% marks are equally eligible.

  • B.Sc. Degrees with at least 50% marks are eligible for the same.

  • 45% just in case of Backward categories (SC/ST) and PWD students of Maharashtra State only are considered.

Bombay College of Pharmacy:

  • Candidates applying must have passed in 10+2 examination in a relevant stream or possess the same qualification.

You will need to take Common Entrance Test (CET) in order to get admission to a B.Pharm course at Bombay College of Pharmacy, Mumbai. The other eligibility criteria are successful completion of 10+2 from a recognized board. 

BCP also offers a B.Pharm (Lateral entry). You can take lateral entry if you completed D.Pharm from a recognized university. The seat intake for this course is 12+.
