Bombay College of Pharmacy B.Pharm admission 2024 is done through the MHT CET exam. The tentative MHT CET dates 2024 have been announced. The online application form will be released in March 2024. The MHT CET 2024 exam is to be held from April 16 to May 2, 2024.


Bombay College of Pharmacy was founded in 1957 by Indian Pharmaceutical Association- Maharashtra State Brach. The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai.

The college offers Graduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programs in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Bombay College of Pharmacy has an annual intake of more than 150 students.

  • Applications for admission have to be submitted through the common application form available at college website portal.
  • Admission to B.Pharm. is done on the basis of MH-CET score.
  • Admission to B.Pharm. Lateral entry is done on the basis of merit in the D.Pharm. Program.

Bombay College of Pharmacy B.Pharm Admission 2023

Bombay College of Pharmacy offers Bachelor’s program in Pharmacy for which admission will be made through Maharashtra CET, conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

Applicants must have passed higher secondary examinations with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one among Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology and minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Admission are also made directly to the second year of the course (lateral entry). Applicants who hold Diploma in Pharmacy approved by AICTE/ Pharmacy Council of India/ State/ Central government with minimum 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply.

Admissions will be merit based in the qualifying examination.

Bombay College of Pharmacy M.Pharm Admission 2023

At postgraduate level, the college offers M.Pharm in five specializations.

Candidates who have successfully completed their Bachelor’s in Pharmacy with at least 55% aggregate marks are eligible to apply.

The annual intake for the program is 50 students.

Admissions will be on the basis of candidate’s score in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)/ CET for M.Pharm conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.

  • For the Sponsored candidates minimum two years of full time work experience in a registered research / educational institute/ company/ firm/ in any government department is necessary.

Bombay College of Pharmacy Ph.D. Admission 2023

The college offers Doctoral course to candidates who have completed master’s degree in the concerned discipline with minimum aggregate of 55% marks.

The course will be of minimum two-year duration from the date of registration and can be extended up to four years.

The annual intake for Ph.D. program is 30 (subject to availability).

Admissions will be based on candidates score in Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)/ University of Mumbai Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET).

Qualifying candidates must appear for the counseling round by the college.

Bombay College of Pharmacy Application Process 2023

Candidates can apply Online or Offline for admission in all the programs in the college. For competitive entrance examinations, candidates need to register on the official website of the conducting bodies first.

  • Visit the official website of the college.
  • Select Admissions tab at the home page.
  • At the end of the redirected page click on ‘To Login to BCP Portal: Click Here’ link.
  • Register with valid details.
  • Login and complete the application process.
  • Proceed to pay the application fee which can be paid online through Credit/ Debit cards or Net Banking or Paytm Wallet.
  • For Offline mode, download the application form from the link given on the website.
  • Fill it duly and send it to the college.

ICT, Mumbai:

  • Candidates applying must pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry /Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

  • Diploma in Engineering and Technology with min 50% marks are equally eligible.

  • B.Sc. Degrees with at least 50% marks are eligible for the same.

  • 45% just in case of Backward categories (SC/ST) and PWD students of Maharashtra State only are considered.

You will need to take Common Entrance Test (CET) in order to get admission to a B.Pharm course at Bombay College of Pharmacy, Mumbai. The other eligibility criteria are successful completion of 10+2 from a recognized board. 

BCP also offers a B.Pharm (Lateral entry). You can take lateral entry if you completed D.Pharm from a recognized university. The seat intake for this course is 12+.
