Symbiosis is one of the most prominent and efficient colleges in Pune. Students mainly come here to pursue MBA. It is a pretty decent campus. Now, moving further to discussing CLAT, NLSIU, or NALSAR; as I have learned from some of my friends studying there, that to appear for CLAT next year, to get into NLUs may be worth the attempt.

However, let us consider few factors:

• If you are successful in your attempt and manage to get into the top 3 NLUs, you might get a thought of not dropping a year and keep studying to achieve your goal.
• When you spend time preparing for CLAT, you would do so along with your current academics. 
• Will you be able to cope with current college academics is a big question.
• If you are not able to clear the CLAT as per expectations, your current studies at Symbiosis will suffer.

Take the right decision by discussing and get in the proper decision, as, it is not wise to meddle around with your time and career.

As far as law studies are concerned, Symbiosis is a reputed brand and offers huge scopes of internships along with placement opportunities. Here are some major facts that can be really helpful to determine which institute would be better for your future studies.

Ranking:

• Symbiosis Hyderabad is relatively new in the field and thus has managed to have two graduate batches so far (2019 and 2020). However, it is UGC recognized and NAAC approved.

• Symbiosis law school of Pune is UGC approved and has ranked 8th among the top law schools by NIRF’s evaluation in 2020.

Admission:

Symbiosis Hyderabad:

• Aspiring students who want to take admission at Symbiosis Hyderabad for BA L.L.B must clear the SLAT exam.

• The cut-off SLAT score remains to be around 76.

Symbiosis Pune:

• Aspiring students have to clear the SLAT examination.

• The highest and the average packages that are usually offered to the students remain to be around 12 LPA and 5.6 LPA.

• The minimum offered package varies between 3 LPA to 4LPA.

Symbiosis Pune:

• More than 90% of students get placed in various companies every year from this institute.

• Some of the top recruiters are SAP, TCS, General Motors, Wipro, Aditya Birla Group, Deloitte, Airtel, and more.

NLU Delhi has been ranked 2 by NIRF and the Symbiosis Law School has been ranked 8 by NIRF. Faculty members at both institutes are accomplished and award-winning with names such as Dr. Anuradha Binnuri, Dr. Atmaram Fakirba Shelke, and others at Symbiosis and Prof. Anju Tyagi and Dr. Amita Punj at NLU. There are about 14-20 faculty members at these institutes.

Apart from this students are selected on the basis of merit of 12th and the respective entrance exams of these institutes, i.e. SLAT for Symbiosis and AILET for NLU Delhi.

• Symbiosis Pune's BA LLB students got placed with Vedanta, Flipkart, Amarchand, etc in 2018, on the average payment of 5 LPA. The highest CTC went up to 14 LPA.

• Symbiosis Hyderabad BA LLB batch saw 87% of its participating students placed with law firms in 2019. More than 350 companies visited for recruitment purposes including Quislex, Tatva Legal, etc.

• NLU Delhi's all 41 students got placed with Singh and Singh Advocates, Indian Oil and Reliance in 2020. The median salary of INR 15 LPA.

Both the colleges, Nirma Law University and Symbiosis Law School are one of the renowned colleges for Law studies in India. Nirma Law College is ranked 8th for Law by Outlook in 2019. SLS Pune has ranked 7th as per the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) report 2019 by MHRD. A minimum of 45% aggregate is required for LLB admissions in both of the colleges. • It has a strong placement cell which has its criteria for internships and placement.
• The highest package offered is 12 LPA and the median package offered is 5 LPA.
• Students have been placed in some of India's top law firms like AZB Partners and Trilegal.

Faculty:

Nirma University

• The teachers of Nirma University are highly qualified in their respective fields and they have been imparting education very efficiently.
• The teachers use various techniques to teach the students and make them industry-ready.

Symbiosis Law School

• The faculty of Symbiosis is well-qualified and has extreme knowledge about the field.
• The teaching quality is excellent and they provide students with many international guest faculties who come from famous international universities and teach matters related to the stream.
• The main highlight of SLS is the Moot Court where professional trail practices are taken on real-life instances.

To conclude, it can be said that Nirma University is a good university for a moderate student providing all the needed facilities whereas Symbiosis has many international connections and amazing campus life. So, if one is interested in academics only Nirma University is a better option and for a good overall college experience, Symbiosis University is best.
