Government Law College in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University and approved by the Bar Council of India. The college was established in 1979. Government Law College offers five-year BA- BL and two-year BL course at Undergraduate level and ML course at Postgraduate level.
- Application form for both UG and PG courses are accepted through offline mode only.
- Applicants can either obtain the application form in person or can be obtained through the post.
- Minimum eligibility for BA – BL course is HSC from a recognized board with minimum 45% marks.
- Applicants for BL course should have done graduation in any discipline with at least 45% marks in 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern.
- Selection to the BA – BL and BL courses is on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.
- For ML course, applicants should have passed BA – BL or BL course from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks.
- For BA- BL course, those who are employed are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have passed the qualifying examinations from institutes / University located outside of Tamil Nadu or are from States other than Tamil Nadu, will be admitted to the desired course only on production of Eligibility Certificate obtained from the Registrar of the University.
- Eligibility certificate can be obtained by making a request through a requisition letter addressed to the Registrar, along with letter, a copy of selection & allotment letter and a Demand Draft.
