Cosmopolitan Technology of Maritime (CTM) is a private maritime training (merchant navy) institute running under Charitable Educational Trust. It was established in 2003 and is located in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu.
Cosmopolitan Technology of Maritime offers a Diploma program in Nautical Science, a Certificate program in Maritime Catering and a General Purpose Rating program to eligible candidates seeking career as seafarers. It also offers STCW courses in Personal Survival Technique, Personal Safety and Social Responsibility, Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting, Elementary First Aid, Passenger Ship Familiarization, and Oil Tankers Familiarization with the program duration ranging from 2 to 5 days.

- All applicants must possess good health and must produce/ submit Medical Fitness Certificate as per MS 2000 norms.
- The basic eligibility criteria for admission to Diploma and Certificate courses is a pass in 10+2 from a recognized board.
- For the General Purpose Rating program, candidates must pass 10th standard with at least 40% marks.
- Diploma applicants must have studied scored 60% marks in 10+2 with PCM subjects to be eligible.
- Admission to all courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.
