Chitkara School of Hospitality offers an undergraduate B.Sc. degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. Candidates are shortlisted for admission on the basis of their performance in the examination viz. JEE.
The school may also offer undergraduate degrees in Culinary Arts and Hotel Management, depending upon the decision of the management. In such programs, selection is done through performance in personal interview and a written test, if deemed necessary. It is followed by a centralized counseling process which allows for allotment of institute.
The paper may consist of any of the following types of questions:
- Multiple choice questions (MCQs)
- Fill in the blank / objective type questions
- Numeric questions
- Picture-based questions
- Multiple answer questions (more than one answer can be selected for each)

Selected candidates must provide all required documents and submit some amount of tuition fee to finalize the admission process. The tuition fee may be paid via DD in favour of ‘Chitkara University’, payable at Chandigarh.
- Candidates must be at least 17 years of age to apply.
- Candidate should have studied English at the previous level.
- In the case of availability of seats after the counseling process is completed, candidates may be invited for the residual seats on a first – come, first – serve basis, if eligibility requirement is met.
Note: The Hotel Management program also offers a possibility of studying abroad for a part of the course. In such cases, the candidate must attempt and obtain the required score from the IELTS examination.
