Chitkara School of Hospitality is a premier Hotel Management institution, started in 2005 in Chandigarh, under the Chitkara Group of Institutions. It now offers a full time undergraduate B.Sc. program in Hospitality and Hotel Administration as well as certain undergraduate courses (may differ from year to year).

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of merit of the candidate as determined by the performance in the centralized examination i.e. JEE.

Chitkara School of Hospitality, Chandigarh B.Sc Admissions 2023

Chitkara School of Hospitality offers an undergraduate B.Sc. degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. Candidates are shortlisted for admission on the basis of their performance in the examination viz. JEE.

The school may also offer undergraduate degrees in Culinary Arts and Hotel Management, depending upon the decision of the management. In such programs, selection is done through performance in personal interview and a written test, if deemed necessary. It is followed by a centralized counseling process which allows for allotment of institute.

The paper may consist of any of the following types of questions:

Selected candidates must provide all required documents and submit some amount of tuition fee to finalize the admission process. The tuition fee may be paid via DD in favour of ‘Chitkara University’, payable at Chandigarh.

Candidates must be at least 17 years of age to apply.
Candidate should have studied English at the previous level.
In the case of availability of seats after the counseling process is completed, candidates may be invited for the residual seats on a first – come, first – serve basis, if eligibility requirement is met.

Note: The Hotel Management program also offers a possibility of studying abroad for a part of the course. In such cases, the candidate must attempt and obtain the required score from the IELTS examination.

For JEE Registration:

A notification will be released by the IIT which is conducting the examination for the year, following which the application forms will be officially released.
Interested candidates can register from the official JEE website.
Candidates must submit the duly filled-in form along with uploaded photographs and photocopies of marks cards within the stipulated time.
Online payment of the application fee can be done through Net Banking.

Chitkara School of Hospitality, Chandigarh Reservation Criteria 2023

For admission to Chitkara University, the following reservation policies are followed:

On the basis of domicile status, 25% of seats are reserved for those who are bonafide candidates of Himachal Pradesh, and 15% of seats are exclusively offered to those candidates who are of Punjab Domicile category.
For those from SC / ST / OBC background, or those with physical handicaps, reservation for allocation of seats is done in accordance with the policy of the State Government in question.
