The course duration of Bachelor of Dental Studies (BDS) is 4 years followed by a one-year compulsory internship. The Master of Dental Studies (MDS) has a duration of 3 years and is offered in various specializations including Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge, Periodontology, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.

Candidates seeking admission to the BDS course must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board/university with minimum 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in PCB taken together and should have passed in English separately.
Admission to the BDS course is done on the basis of Entrance examination conducted by the college on the guidelines of Jharkhand Unaided Private Dental Colleges’ Association. Candidates can also apply for the counselling round with valid scores in Entrance examinations conducted by CBSE, State or any such recognized body.

Candidates seeking admission to the MDS course must possess a BDS degree from a recognized university or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India. Alternatively, candidates who possess a PG Diploma with a duration of 2 years recognized by the Dental Council of India in a particular specialization are also eligible to apply to the MDS course under the same specialty.
Admissions to the MDS course are done on the basis of merit in the entrance examination conducted by the Jharkhand Unaided Private Dental Colleges’ Association or the NEET MDS examination. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit in the entrance examination are called for a round of counselling to be held at the campus.

The minimum required percentage of marks for eligibility for admission to Post Graduate Dental courses shall be 50% for general category candidates and 40% for the candidates belonging to Other Backward Caste, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
Applications for both (BDS and MDS) courses are accepted through offline mode only. The application form can be obtained from the campus office. Alternatively, the application form can also be downloaded from the college website. The filled-in application form along with all the required documents and DD must then be submitted to the college.
