UDMRI offers a five-year Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course approved by the Dental Council of India and the degree is granted by Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University Srinagar. Seats offered for the BDS course are divided into 2 categories- Management quota and State quota. 60% of the seats are filled under management quota through a combined Medical Examination conducted by an association of all private colleges in Uttarakhand.
