Candidates who have obtained a BDS degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply for the MDS course.
Admission to MDS will be done on the basis of the score obtained in NEET PG.
Candidates who have passed MDS or M.Phil with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to apply for the Ph.D. course.
Ph.D. seats will be allotted on the basis of performance in an entrance test and a personal interview conducted by the college.
The candidates who qualify UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SLET / GATE/teacher fellowship holders will be exempted from the entrance test for the Ph.D. course.
The cut-off mark for MBBS/BDS admission for all students this year has gone up by 80 marks, compared to last year.

SRM Dental College Ph.D. Admission 2023

SRM Dental College offers the Ph.D. course in 16 research areas.

For minimum eligibility, candidate must have passed MDS degree or M.Phil degree with minimum 55% marks.

Admission to Ph.D. will be allotted on the basis of performance in the entrance examination and personal interview.

The candidates who qualify for UGC-NET (including JRF) / UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SLET / GATE /teacher fellowship holder will be exempted from taking the entrance test.

Key Points:

In the entrance test, 50% of the test will consist of the research methodology and 50% of the test will be subject specific.
Candidates also have to appear for the personal interview round.
The entrance test and the personal interview will be conducted by the college.

NEET Cut Off 2023

The cut-off mark for MBBS/BDS admission for all students this year has gone up by 80 marks compared to last year. About 940 Open Category (OC) candidates with scores of 601 upwards will be in the reckoning for MBBS admission, whereas it will be 560+ marks for about 1,430 Backward Community (BC) candidates. Most backward community candidates numbering about 750 with scores above 526 too will be in the zone of consideration. The NEET eligibility score for General is 147 and for OBC is 113. One of my friends is a CEG alumni. He thinks it’s the best option for CSE. Some strong points that support his opinions are:

Faculty: The faculty of CEG is of good quality. Many are experienced and alumni of CEG themselves.
Diverse Background: CEG welcomes a mix crown. Your peers are from everywhere across India and this makes it a more thrilling experience.
Rules and Regulations: CEG does not impose unnecessary rules on its students. They are given an extent of freedom.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and laboratories are well equipped. Canteen food is of good quality at very low cost.
Network: CEG has excellent Wi-Fi facilities.
Hostel: Although the food is of average quality, the cost of hostels is less. The buildings are poor but in good condition.
Extracurricular activities: CEG believes in exposure to extracurricular activities other than academics.
Global Recognition: CEG has excellent recognition among foreign universities.
