There are several scholarships that the BDS students of DJ College of Dental Sciences and Research can avail the benefits of. These scholarships are offered by national governmental bodies, state governments as well as some internal grants by the college. Some of these have been listed below:
Government Bodies Offering Scholarships for BDS (UG) Students
1. Samaaj Kalyaan (Social Welfare Department): Undergraduate students wishing to pursue BDS and belonging to the OBC, economically weaker sections (EWS), or those coming under the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) category (must have a genuine certificate as proof) can avail scholarships of a certain amount of their tuition fees. The amount of scholarship disbursed may vary and is based on their category and financial status.
2. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE): BDS students may also refer to AICTE scholarships. AICTE offers fully funded scholarships to students of certain states, one example is students of Jammu and Kashmir. AICTE covers their full tuition and hostel fees of four years. However, the internship year's hostel fees have to be covered by the candidate himself.
3. State Government of Bihar: The state government of Bihar also provides substantial scholarships to students belonging to SC/ST, OBC, and EWS.

- Ajit Singh Jassar Scholarship for Academic and Co-Curricular Excellence (BDS)
- Rs. 1,00,000 (One Lakh) concession is given by the college from the full four-year package of the candidate's fees
- Only five applications will be shortlisted every year for this scholarship
- Minimum Entry Requirements
- 85% or higher consolidated score in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
- A NEET score of 350 or higher
