- Alternatively, those who have secured minimum 50% marks (40% for reserved category) in graduation (B.Sc) with any 3 of these subjects- Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physiology, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry and Human Anatomy- are eligible to apply for this course.
- For admission to the MDS courses, candidates must complete BDS from a university recognized by the Dental Council of India.
- Candidates should also have obtained permanent registration with the Dental Council of India or any State Dental Council in order to be eligible to apply for these courses.
- Admissions to the BDS is based on NEET UG.
- For selection to MDS, students must clear NEET PG.
- Applicants to the Diploma courses must obtain at least 50% marks (40% for reserved category) in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.
- A relaxation of 5% in minimum eligibility score is given to both general and reserved category applicants if seats are left vacant due to an inadequate number of candidates.
- 50% of the seats are filled with state quota while rest of the 50% seats are filled through management quota for non-Himachal Pradesh applicants.
