Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College & Hospital was established in 1989 and became a constituent unit of the Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) in April 1996. The institute is recognized by the Dental Council of India and has been accredited with an “A” Grade by NAAC. It is located in Pune, Maharashtra.
Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College offers undergraduate (BDS) program and postgraduate (MDS) program in eight specializations.
- The minimum eligibility for BDS is passed in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology as subjects with minimum 50% marks.
- Admission to BDS is done on the basis of NEET UG entrance examination.
- For MDS, candidate must pass BDS degree from a recognized Dental College.
- Candidate must complete the one-year rotatory internship on or before March 31 of the year of admission.
- Also, candidate must possess permanent registration under State Dental Council or Dental Council of India.
- Admission to MDS is given on the basis of NEET MDS or DENPET –II entrance examination
- Candidates applying under Foreign/ NRI quota must apply and appear for DENPET –II (conducted by the institute).
- Seats remaining vacant after allotting Foreign/ NRI students are filled under management quota.
