Aspirants seeking admission to a 3-year Full-time MDS (Master of Dental Science) Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
- The candidate must be an Indian National.
- The candidate must have passed BDS Examination from any Dental College recognized by Dental Council of India.
- The candidate should possess a permanent registration with any State Dental Council in India or Dental Council of India. If he does not have the same he will be required to obtain such registration within one month after admission to the P.G. course, failing which, his /her admission to the P.G. course will be cancelled.
- The candidate should have completed the compulsory rotating internship on or before 30th April of admission year and has to produce completion certificate before joining the course.
- The candidate should secure at least 50% marks in DENPET. The candidate belonging to SC / ST should secure at least 40% marks in DENPET.
- Foreign Nationals seeking admission for the Post Graduate course in the institution must procure temporary registration by Dental Council of India for the duration of the Post graduate training restricted to the dental college to which he/she is admitted.
- Candidates who have passed Post Graduate Diploma course recognized by the DCI of the duration of 2 years in particular speciality will be eligible for admission in MDS in the same speciality and the duration of his/her MDS course will be 3 years
- 50% seats are reserved under foreign/NRI/Management category.
