Centre for Development of Imaging Technology is the college which is affiliated to government of Kerala. Its mission is to make the students a leading service provider and tech them to make new media information technology systems and content development with the deployment of sustainable and appropriate imaging technology for science and development communication.

The college campus infrastructure is well furnished with modern facilities. Its classrooms are also well furnished and it is having a huge library and well equipped labotary. It offers post graduate diploma in science and development communication, multimedia design, animation film design, diploma course in digital media production, web design and engineering, visual communication, cyber Journalism, web journalism, , multimedia designing, certificate course in digital still photography, photo journalism, videography courses. The college is having a variety of teaching and learning faculty which is employed with knowledge and skills.
