The Indian Institute of Crafts and Design or IICD was set up in 1995 as an autonomous institute by the Government of Rajasthan. It is located in Jaipur and is affiliated to Rajasthan ILD Skills University (RiSU).
IICD offers 4-years B.Voc. course in 4 specialisations. The programme is meant for those who have completed 10+2. For undergraduates, IICD also has a 5-years Integrated Masters program, M.Voc. in 4 specialisations. For those who have completed Graduation in relevant discipline can go for a 2 or 3 years duration M.Voc program.
Admissions to various courses are accomplished on the basis of merit in qualifying entrance examination conducted by IICD at various centres. However, the final selection depends upon the performance in the interview round.
The institute also provides admission to Foreign Nationals and NRIs. The qualification requirement remains the same as that of Indians. But such candidates have to appear for the Skype Interview instead of Personal one.
