Chamarajendra Govt. College of Visual Arts runs Bachelors of Fine Arts course of five-year duration (two-year for Foundation course and three-year for Specialization course) with 6 specializations in its curriculum.

Those who have passed SSLC or its equivalent examination in any stream from a recognized Board are considered eligible to get admission to BFA course.

Admission in the course is given through written test followed by practical test and interview round conducted by the college. Candidate’s admission is subjected to the approval of the University of Mysore.

Note: The minimum age limit of the applicant who wants to apply for Foundation course is 22 years and for Specialization Course is 24 years.

Chamarajendra Govt. College of Visual Arts offers Masters of Fine Arts course of two-year duration with 3 specializations to the aspirants.

Candidates who have completed the BFA degree from a recognized University are eligible to get admission to MFA course. The college admits candidates to the program on the basis of their performance in the written and practical test and marks obtained in the interview round.
