The B.Des, M.Des, and Ph.D. programs in Design offered by UID Ahmedabad are undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs that are approved by the UGC. UID Ahmedabad also provides a B.Des (Hons.) Global Design Programme (GDP) in association with a number of overseas universities. Students will get the chance to study abroad for a total of three semesters under this GDP. Each UG course has a duration of four years, whereas the M.Des program takes two years to complete. Both online and offline applications are accepted by the institute.

UID Ahmedabad Admission Process 2023

UID Admission 2023 is done through the institute's own entrance test i.e. through UID-DAT (Design Aptitude Test). Students can apply through both Online and Offline modes. The UID Admission Process consists of 2 rounds:-

Round 1:- Design Aptitude Test (DAT) which includes questions to test the General IQ, Analytical & Creative Ability of students.
Round 2:- Situation Test to check the awareness of students. It is followed by Portfolio Evaluation.

UID Ahmedabad offers various UG, PG and Ph.D. courses across several disciplines. The B.des and M.Des courses have various specializations that the students can choose from. There are a total of seven specializations at the UG level and four specializations at the PG level.

UID Ahmedabad Application Process

Students can submit their application for admission to UID Ahmedabad as follows:

Click the Apply Online tab in the top right corner of the UID's official website.
Fill out all the essential details to register and create a new account.
After creating the account, complete the application by providing all required information.
Submit the form in the appropriate format with all required supporting documentation, such as grade reports, pictures, and IDs.
Pay the INR 2,000 application fee. This can be paid by credit/debit cards, net banking, etc.
Save a copy of the confirmation page for reference.

Unitedworld Institute of Design has more number of well-qualified faculties. There are 8 streams available for the UG program in UID. They are Fashion Design, Products Design, Interior Design, Automobile Design, Animation, Visual Communication, LifeStyle Accessories Design, and Interaction Design. At MIT, there are 3 streams for UG programs in design. They are Product Design, Visual Communication, and User Experience Design.

Intake procedure

Unitedworld Institute of Design:

10+2 has to be completed from a recognized board acquiring a minimum 50% marks
Aspirants must clear the design aptitude test with merit.
The total fees of the college is 18 Lakhs.

MIT World Peace University Pune:

Candidates must have cleared higher secondary school with English as the compulsory subject and acquiring a minimum of 50% marks.
Scores of NID entrance score/ UCEED score/ any other equivalent design entrance exam.
