RL Institute of Animation and Media Studies (RLIAMS) was started in the year of 2009 by Subbalakshmi Lakshmipathy College of Science with the idea of providing the knowledge in the area of Animation and Media Studies. The college is critically emerged with the creative analysis, production and research into emerging forms of media. The goal of the programme is to prepare students for well-paid job. A wide variety of teaching and learning methods including workshops, lecturers, seminars and guided assignments are provided by the college. The college also offers Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) course to the students in Animation and Television Production and Diploma courses in Jewellery Designing, 3DS Max,  Maya, Graphic, Web Designing,  Cartoon Animation.
