Candidates appearing for Interior Design have to undergo the Design Aptitude Test where they will be tested upon their designing skills.
Candidates appearing for Mass Communication are tested on their writing skills related to media professionals
Candidates, who have valid scores/rank in other entrance exams like IPU CET, UGAT, MAT, DART are exempted from the JET.
However, such students are required to appear for a Personal Interview Conducted by JIIMS Vasant Kunj.

Candidates applying for any of the programs offered by Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences, Vasant Kunj - II can apply through online or offline mode as desired. The detailed process of application is as follows:

Application form for admission can be collected from the Institute by payment of INR 1000. Duly filled in form along with self-attested photocopies of certificates of qualifying exam and two passport-sized photographs should be submitted in the Institute.
Alternately the students can fill in the admission form online and pay INR 1000 through our online payment portal. Self-Attested photocopies of certificates of qualifying exam along with two passport-sized photographs along with proof of payment will be submitted on the day of the entrance test.
The students can also download the admission form from our website wwww.jimssouthdelhi.com. The duly filled-in form along self-attested photocopies of certificates of qualifying exam and two passport sized photographs along with the Demand Draft of INR 1000/- in favour of Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences, payable at New Delhi can be sent through post/courier.

What I Liked

The faculty is good and very helpful towards the students.
The faculty is very experienced and kind.
The course is very good and very broad so their are many opportunity for a person.

What I didn’t like

The campus is not very big and spacious.
Their is no ground in the campus to play.
Their are not many sports related activities in the college.

Remarks:

I also applied to KR Mangalam college. I got confirmed admission from both the colleges but I chose this college because the fees of that college was expensive for me compared to this college. I did not get rejected from that college. I got selected in that college but I did not choose that college. First the students have to clear the college entrance exam so that they get selected in the college.

What I Liked

There are two teachers in the college who are amazing teachers
The class timings are manageable. There is a morning and an evening shift.
The course material is according to standards.

What I didn’t like

The college campus isnt quite amazing ..
The campus does not have a ground its more like a lawn.
Some of the faculty members are not quite good at teaching

Remarks:

The reason why i chose this college over other colleges is because this college is comparitively closer to my home , so it would be easy to commute to the college everyday. Otherwise i was considering going to Sharda University.

Remarks:

As the jims society is a known name and has been working towards education for long now with a good oppotunities and right support to go ahead in life and achieve things which makes it a better choice

Decent college. Go for it!

What I Liked

faculty is cooperative and knowledgeable
decent location in core south delhi area with metro connectivity
fees is not as pricey as other private colleges

What I didn’t like

campus size is less than desirable for a college
canteen food is overpriced and not up to the mark
no formal college societies to enhance your extracurriculars

Remarks:

I applied to multiple private universities in delhi ncr and colleges in other states. Although having decent marks in boards, I was not able to crack cuet so government colleges were not an option. I chose this college because of proximity to home and affordable fees

What I Liked

The faculty is good and teachers focus on every student personally.
The environment of class rooms is very nice for studies.
The library have all books related to the course and we can study in library in free time.

What I didn’t like

The lack of canteen in the college as sometimes i like to eat something else instead of my lunch
The lack of ground in the college for sports activities.
Sometimes we have to take lectures in different class so it becomes little annoying.

Remarks:

Yes the admission system is very flexible and easy even they have volunteers who help us while filling the form for admission in the college and even our teachers help us while filling the form. When i was taking the admission my course hod maam helped me.
