Tunga Mahavidyalaya, Tiptur, Karnataka was established to provide for overall development of the students through an act of balance between academics, cultural activities, skill development and state of art infrastructure facilities to support all of these. The College works with a vision laid by the ‘Tunga Vidyavardhaka Sangha’ and has developed firm grounds for serving the country with a dearth of professional human resource. The College offers undergraduate courses in areas such as economics, computer applications, English, history, political science, Kannada, sociology, commerce, chemistry, mathematics and physics.

Tunga Mahavidyalaya has one of the biggest library infrastructures in Karnataka with 50,000 books covering all major subjects from arts, commerce and science, 79 national and international journals and 12 newspapers. 2. Sports Facilities:
Tunga Mahavidyalaya has a sports ground spread across 4 acres of land supported by an indoor stadium and well-equipped gym facility.
