Swami Ramanand Teerth Mahavidyalaya
Swami Ramanand Teerth Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 1970. It was named after the Rev. Swami Ramanand Teerth who was the great leader of the Hyderabad Mukti Sangram. It was established to impart the quality of education in the field of commerce and arts. The college is affiliated to the Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and is re - accredited with grade “B++” by the NAAC. The SMRT has state of art infrastructure and is in a sprawling area of about 7 acres with all essential facilities. The faculty members at the college are qualified and experienced and impart quality education to the students.

In most of the students who seek admission are from poor families. For meeting their daily expenses requirements the college has a scheme “Earn & Learn” which gets partial financial assistance from Dr. B.A.M University. In this scheme each year 25 students are admitted and are dividend in 3 groups and work in several areas for college like gardening, library maintenance, college campus cleaning etc.
