St. Thomas’ College, located in Thrissur, is an autonomous college, and is also known for being the oldest Catholic College in Kerala. The College is affiliated to the University of Calicut, and has 23 departments and 8 research centres.

St. Thomas’ College offers UG and PG level courses in under various specialization covering different aspects of arts, science, commerce and other professional streams. Admission to most of the courses are done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam. However, for certain courses, the candidates need to appear in the entrance exam conducted by college.

Application process of the St. Thomas College generally begins in month of May every year. For UG courses, the last date for the receipt of soft copy of application form will be 15 days from the declaration of the result of the Higher Secondary Examinations of the Kerala State. St Thomas College offers B.A., B.Sc., B.Com. courses under a number of specializations. B.A. is offered in two different subjects, whereas, B.Sc. is offered with eight different subjects. In addition, the college also offers B.Com in two subjects along with other specializations like BCA, BVC, BMMC, BBA, and B.Voc. All the UG courses offered are for a period of 3 years. Admission to the UG courses are based on merit of the students at 10+2 level. The last date for the receipt of application form will be 15 days from the declaration of the result of the Higher Secondary Examinations of the Kerala State.

For Admission in the B.A. Functional English, B.Com. Computer Application and B.Sc. Psychology, the candidates need to sit for an entrance test.

A concession of 3 GPV will be given to OBC/ OEC candidates.

BBA	Business Administration	40	Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent examination thereto, with not less than 50% is eligible for admissions. A concession of 3 GPV will be given to OBC/OEC candidates. The SC/ ST candidates need get only a pass.

St. Thomas College PG Admission 2023

St.Thomas College also offers a number of PG courses under various specializations. All the courses are for a period of two years. The subjects available for post graduation courses are Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Electronics, English, and Economics. Apply for PG Courses

Admission to the PG courses are done on the basis of merit of the students at 10+2 level. However the college follows a different approach of admission for the courses mentioned below:

The selection to MSW will be based on qualifying examination marks, entrance test, group discussion and personal interview
The selection to M.Sc. Computer Science (Aided & Self Financing) will be based on qualifying examination marks & entrance test.
An entrance test shall be conducted for those candidates whose core subject is not English and are looking forward to pursue PG in M.A. English course.

Application Process

The application fees is Rs.150/- for General Candidates and Rs. 100/- only for SC/ST candidates including processing charge (Bank charges excluded).
The candidate needs to visit the official website - stthomas.ac.in and click on the link - “Admission 2021”. Then do fill in the application form with all the details required along with relevant scanned documents.
After entering all the data, the candidate can pay the fee either through online or chalan directly to the SBI Bank.
You need to take out a print out of the hard copy which needs to be only submitted at the time of interview and not before that.

Remarks:

For pg courses, eligibility is at least 45% marks in the respective degree. Admission is conducted through the official website of St.thomas College, Thrissur, at the end of June or July application fees will be less than 500 Rupees which is not candidates who applying to this college should also apply for the centralized admission process conducted by the university of Calicut since it is affiliated to the university of Calicut. There will be 15% reserved seats for ST, SC&PWD candidates and for those, there will be a reduction in fees.
