Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College was established as Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa Post-graduate (Evening) College. Later, it was made into a morning college. According to the reviews online, it is a really good college.
Categories | SGND Khalsa College |
Course Fee | 46.27 K |
Highest CTC | 15-16 LPA |
Average CTC | 6-7 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | TCS, HP, Tata Steel, Oyo, etc. |
It is managed by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and happens to be among the few run by them. They take inspiration from the teachings of Sikh Gurus and give it all to humanity. The approach is rather holistic and provides extracurricular opportunities with state-of-the-art academia.
One of my friends graduated from this college. It is a small college with a decent crowd and a good faculty, but what really matters is if it is fulfilling your requirements.
Categories | Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College |
Course Fee | 46,000 |
Placement Percentage | 60-70% |
Highest CTC | 12 LPA |
Average CTC | 5 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | TCS, Citi Bank, ZS Associates, HCL, etc. |
Overall, it is like any other college, with an average academic performance and curriculum. You can go for it as it promises a DU tag. But ultimately it is your decision.
Among PGDAV, Ramanujan College, and Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa for pursuing a B.Com, no doubt Ramanujan is the best. It is an assured college for the studies and the overall development of a student.
Following are the things that are guaranteed in the institution:
Categories | B.Com at Ramanujan College |
Course Fee | INR 60,000 |
Placement Percentage | 60-70% |
Highest CTC | 6-8 LPA |
Average CTC | 3.5 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | Deloitte, Wipro, Amazon, Axis Bank, etc. |
You should opt for Ramanujan as it is better than the PGDAV and the Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College. It will provide a good academics and career to the student with all the required facilities.
All the mentioned colleges are good in their own way. But it is important to know the college is not important but your approach towards your course.
B.Com (Hons.) is a very prestigious course and it demands a great deal of dedication and concentration. Getting admission to any of these colleges means that your interest is genuine.
Consider enrolling yourself into any of the professional courses also as the syllabus for professional courses and B.Com (Hons) are quite similar. Go for ICWA due to the fact that it does not have the requirement of articles.
These 3 years in college will shape up your career ahead. If you score good marks and understand all the concepts and are truly invested in the subject, then after a while the college name would not matter, as your skills and knowledge will be given more precedence.
It majorly depends on your choice. If you want your career to lead you to write and the media industry or a manager in a corporate office.
It is seen that many students pursue English Hons. and then prepare for UPSC or a Master’s degree in Journalism or Mass Communication. It totally depends on you and where your interest lies.
If you wish to choose BBA, then Maharaja Surajmal, Maharaja Agrasen Rohini, and VIPS are recommended. If you are getting these colleges in IPU and you wish to pursue your career in management then it is a good option.
