Answered Questions

Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce: 3 answered questions

Ques
Which is better: Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, Sri Guru Gobind College or Dyal Singh College for a B.Com programme?

● Top Answer By Sidharth Dua on 13 Jan 22

Ans
According to the reviews online, Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC) is a very well maintained institution. They have a proper infrastructure with a good faculty and student crowd. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) is also academically a good institute.  It is suggested that you do not go for Dyal Singh College (DSC) but opt for anyone among the other two mentioned. Between SGGSCC and SBSC make your choice based on the location. If you belong to South Delhi, Noida or Gurgaon, then choose SBSC. If you are from any other part of Delhi choose SGGSCC.  If you are from an outstation choose SGGSCC as overall living cost in North Delhi is cheaper than South Delhi and you can also stay near North Campus which will help you interact with a much more diverse set of people.

Ques
Which college should I choose for a B.Com Ramjas College, Sri Venkateswara College or the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce?

● Top Answer By Nikita Singh on 21 Jan 22

Ans
It is suggested that you go for Sri Venkateswara College (SVC) or Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC), as both colleges are famous for their commerce department.  They have the best, most experienced faculty with some professors having 15-20 years of educational experience. You will have opportunities to take part in extracurricular activities through clubs and societies. SVC also has the best placement opportunities and has the advantage of being in Satya Niketan, the best college of south campus. Therefore, your first choice or preference should be either SVC or SGGSCC, followed by Ramjas college.

Ques
Which is better for a B.Com honors - Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce or Ramjas College?

● Top Answer By Manpreet Singh on 21 Jan 22

Ans
Among Ramjas and Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (SGGSCC) it is better if you go for the latter. The student crowd of SGGSCC are friendly and maintain a healthy competition with their peer groups. This is not the same in Ramjas, the crowd here are more aloof and distant towards each other. Being a college dedicated only to commerce, SGGSCC has better placements. They do not have to scatter their focus in all streams like Ramjas. SGGSCC has more culturally active clubs and societies students can take part in which will help in their holistic development.  SGGSCC also has a better infrastructure than Ramjas. They have a huge library with 2 floors and fully air conditioned.  The auditorium of SGGSCC has theatre seats with AC. Ramjas hardly has any placements for B.Com Hons or Economic Hons. Therefore it is suggested that you go for SGGSCC to pursue a B.Com Honours rather than selecting Ramjas College.
